  The Black Mountain Reunion was a hugh success, hosted by
Jim Foster  and Betty Carol Mullins Foster, Wayne  Alley and
JoeAnn  Reynolds Alley and Donald R. Hughes all of Tennessee.
The  Reunion was held at the community park at Black Mountain .
 Local host were Jimmy Doyle Hughes, Ida Mae Carpenter and
 Annette Marcee with the help of many local people, to name
 a few, Mitchell Marlowe Jr, Anthony and Hazel Saylor who
 worked to get the park mowed and  generally kept  things
 clean.  Mr Overton of the Coca Cola Bottling Plant in
 Middlesboro  gave us the sign.  Ms White the principal at
 Black Mountain Elementary School had a custodian , Tommy
 Berry standing by at the school in the event of rain. The
 Owners of both stores in Black Mountain the Whiteheads and
 Petries agreed to remain open on Sunday and prepare food
 for everyone, which was very good and much appreciated. Not
 everyone signed the guest book  but we have estimated a
 crowd of approximately l60. The following is a list of
 those who did sign the book.

Paul & Bob Belcher are 4th & 5th from left in front row.
Paul attended primer to 8th grade 1930 to 1939. Bob, 1935-1944.  Bob was born 1930 with help of Mary Lou "Coon"Troutman (midwife) in #1  Camp.  We moved to 31 Camp, house # 1003, that same year and parents lived there 'til 1948. Older Brother, Gordon, Born #1 Camp, 1923, also attended all grades at Black Mountain. He Died 1995 in Austin, Tx.
